Woo woo. I was invited to the new beta of LIttle Big Planet 2. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with what I see, not sure how much I can say. I've been broke for the last few months so it's nice to essentially get a free 3 week play test of an unreleased game (the sequel to one of my favorite games of all time). I'm releasing my cartoon, Little Big Apocalypse on Jan 1st, the same date that Little Big Planet 2 will be released on. It's also my birthday. The stars have aligned *_*
The new weapons and powerups in LBP 2 are pretty amazing and open up soooo many gameplay opportunities. I can't wait to have the full version of the game and also one of those fancy-schmancy MOVE controllers. I hope they live up to the hype.. although right now it doesn't seem like it. Maybe MOVE needs a killer-app? and not some stupid wii-like bullshit? XD
I've been falling behind with my work big time. On top of trying to animate two projects, I'm also trying to build up my blog and start making legit money from it. A recent post I did was featured on boingboing and richarddawkins.net, it got around 28,000 views. Using Google Adsense, that only got me around $15.00. Turns out, making money from the internet is kind of hard. o_O
My animations, Reboot and Little Big Apocalypse have suffered because I took some time off to create my website and essentially re-learn all the stuff I forgot when I let my hosting run out on my old site. Now my website is up though and it's looking good and getting hits, so I can finally breath a sigh of relief that not all that effort was wasted.
My newest animation, Reboot 12 has been worked on, on and off for the last 2 years and it's just about done. At this point I'm just waiting for the voice actors to get back to me.
